4 Hacks to Make Sure Your Getting Enough of the “Good Stuff”

What you eat is far more important then what you don’t eat.

We can put you on the perfect diet, then we remove vitamin C.

What could happen?

Your skin can could get infectious, and lead to something more terminal. Of course, we don’t want this for you!

Here are 4 tips for increasing your intake of the healthy stuff:

TIP #1: Have an awesome start to the day

Put on some funky music, chop up some fruit or vegetables, or make a Alkagizer!

Do this before your morning coffee.

It will insure that you start the day by giving your body a boost of nutritious food.

TIP #2: Have a batch of Alkagizer in the freezer as backup

Make a large batch of Alkagizer and pour it in airtight containers, like mason jars, then put them in the freezer. Make sure there is enough space allowing the smoothie to expand when it gets frozen, that is unless you want a smoothie disaster in your freezer…

If you know that the next day is going to be hectic, take an Alkagizer from the freezer and put it in the fridge, and let it defrost overnight.

Then it will be ready to go the next day!

TIP #3: Increase your vegetable intake with meals

If you’re used to having vegetables with your meals, then increase the amount.

If you’re not used to having vegetables with your meals, then make a conscious decision to add some.

TIP #4: Prep vegetable sticks and dips for snacks

Chop vegetables like carrots, cucumbers, and celery and make delicious dips like guacamole and hummus.

It’s something you can snack on between meals.

  1. I have been implementing the first 3 and will continue to do so. As we move out of the structured program I plan to actively implement the 4th- although celery and olives have been stable food snacks the last few weeks.
