Cherry Recovery Smoothie


Looking to fuel up after a exercise session? This cherry recovery smoothie recipe provides everything you need to help you recover after a workout, plus it tastes pretty darn delicious. Make this a part of your post-exercise routine!

Seasons: Living WILDFIT

Prep Time: 5 minutes.

Cooking Time: 0 minutes.

Makes: 2 servings.


2 cups frozen, pitted cherries

1 cup coconut cream

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

½ cup avocado

¼ cup frozen cranberries

2 Tbsp hemp seeds

2 tsp fresh ginger (to taste)

1-2 tsp of pure vanilla extract

1 small handful of ice (if preferred)

Make it a bowl (toppings):

1 Tbsp desiccated coconut flakes

1 Tbsp hemp seeds

Sliced cranberries


Add cherries, cranberries, avocado, ginger, ice (if using), and hemp seeds to your blender.

Pour vanilla, nut milk and coconut cream over top.

Blend until creamy and smooth.

Serve immediately, or store in a full, airtight jar for up to 24 hours.
