This luscious, creamy dessert also works wonders in rejuvenating the body, creating longevity, supporting your libido and boosting stamina.  The chocolate delight includes the power of roots and mushrooms foraged for millenia for these exact purposes- and now you can do the same quickly and easily in your own kitchen! Whip this up fresh and enjoy decadence that will support instead of deplete you and your health. Enjoy!

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 0 minutes
Serves: 2

2 avocados
¼ cup maple syrup/honey
¼ cup of coconut cream
¼ cup raw cacao
1 tsp maca
1 tsp chaga
Pinch of Himalayan salt
Top with shredded coconut and cacao nibs

The recipe requires only a little chopping and blending- but what is most important is the order ingredients are added to the blender so that the powders blend evenly through the avocado.Start by cutting the avocados in half and scooping the flesh into the blender with a big spoon. Trying to choose perfectly ripe avocados is always a challenge, but do try your best. Slightly overripe is better for the texture than under.

Next add your powders. Try to have them land on top of the avocado, rather dry at the bottom. Cacao is not generally a WildFit food, as it contains caffeine- however, for some of the other benefits, WildFit Chefs occasionally make an exception. Cacao contains antioxidants that protect your heart’s health, and also boosts brain serotonin- creating a sense of calm, peace and love. No wonder many people use it to self medicate! This is actually due to caffeine’s chemical cousin theobromine, so enjoy the love rush but remember that the cacao is the facilitator of the feeling, but it was inside you all along!

The other plants that lend this pudding potency are maca root and chaga mushroom. Maca is actually the root of a plant related to WildThing’s beloved kale and broccoli- growing high on mountaintops in Peru. In addition to containing high concentrations of vitamins and minerals that are good for you- it may also be a sexual health hack- supporting libido, increasing fertility and balancing hormones. Finally chaga, a fungus that may not have been eaten by our African ancestors, but can be used as a booster once your body is humming along in great health. It is said to promote longevity, enhance immunity, increase circulation and endurance- all things we need to have a healthy sex life!

So, after the avocado and powders are in the blender, add the coconut cream, liquid sweetener, vanilla and salt over top. The liquids combine with the powders so less chunks are formed, while the salt brings out the scent and flavours within the combo. It may be that for men, the scent of vanilla correlates with a greater increase in sexual arousal than any other scent. Vanilla is a powerful aphrodisiac for women as well, but for different reasons. In women, vanilla can create a feeling of comfort and peace, encouraging a sense of safety.

Once all ingredients are added, blend for a few minutes until well combined and a creamy pudding texture. Add a bit more coconut cream if you need to thin things out- less if your avocados are particularly small. Chill for a few minutes and serve garnished with shredded coconut and cacao nibs. Enjoy with a lover- whether another or your sweet self!

Serve and enjoy! Leftovers will keep in the fridge up to 3 days before wilting.

Generally, you can find this at your local health food market. I do know some people have found it on Amazon as well. =)
