About Your Host

Eric Edmeades spent the earlier part of his life struggling with constant sinus and throat infections, excess weight, acne and chronic fatigue.

His doctors believed that surgically removing his tonsils was the solution, but on a whim, Eric decided to experiment with changing his diet. Within 30 days, all of his symptoms disappeared, so the surgery was cancelled.

You know those people who get an idea and become obsessed with it? Eric is one of those people. He became fascinated by food’s role in achieving true health. He wanted to understand why simple dietary changes healed his body – especially when western medicine had spent years telling him that cutting out a part of his body was the only solution.

His research took him to live with bushmen in Africa, where he studied their eating patterns. He waded through stacks of nutritional data and functional anthropology research. He devoted years of his life to analyzing and testing his theories and WILDFIT is the culmination of it all.

What’s the difference between Traditional Back to Spring and Ultimate Back to Spring ?

01. Seasonal Rhythm
Our traditional Hunter’s Spring program was built for someone who wanted to introduce the hunter’s lifestyle into their seasonal rhythm. It was built upon the basic framework of moving in and out of Spring. The Ultimate Spring experience is perfect for those who are looking for a metabolic reset, increased weight release, and/or decreased inflammation.

02. Length of Time
Our traditional Hunter’s Spring program is embedded in the middle of the Back to Spring experience, which means there is still a lot of emphasis on food dialogue and some of the basic principles of WILDFIT. The Ultimate Hunter’s Spring experience allows for more time in deeper Spring and new learnings around optimizing the time spent in Hunter’s Spring.

03. Behavior Change Dynamics
Part of what makes the WILDFIT methodology so impactful is the minimal opportunities to fail. So rather than list all of the differences between the programs, you’ll just have to join to find out! Trust the journey – but know that this is a program that Eric has been working on for three years.

The Ultimate Back to Spring Program is right for you if:

  • You feel sluggish when you wake up and have to rely on temporary means of energy
  • Your sleep patterns are all over the place, and you don’t feel you are getting into a restful sleep state
  • Your weight is not where you want it to be. You have a few extra lbs to release.

The Ultimate Back to Spring is not for you if:

  • You are expecting a done-for-you meal plan diet
  • You have any precondition conditions that prevent you from participating in a food experimental program. (ie. hypoglycemia, pre-eclampsia, etc)
  • You have a philosophical aversion to meat or meat products
  • You haven’t made the decision yet that YOUR HEALTH is the MOST IMPORTANT asset that you have.


The first two weeks are the most time-heavy - with three live 60-minute calls each week. The time outside the calls is minimal as you will just prepare your food as you normally would. You can expect to spend 2-3 hours each week in live calls, preparing your food* and reviewing the course material

*There are no meal prep lists or meal plans required during the program

Well, first, we aren’t here to contradict what your doctor is saying. We aren’t doctors - however, here’s what we can say. We’ve had several clients come through the basic version of Hunter’s Spring and experience inflammation decreases, A1c drops, and other incredible medical non-scale wins. At the end of the day, in collaboration with your doctor or medical professional, you need to make the decision that feels best for you.

The short answer is no. This program doesn’t require any special meal prep or plans. You will want to make time for yourself to prepare meals like you normally would. First and foremost, WILDFIT was built on the principle that diets aren’t productive. They rely on willpower for results, and if achieved, the results aren’t permanent. This program is meant to educate participants on the process of achieving a metabolic reset and continue to live this lifestyle long after the 6-week program.

Yes! Eric Edmeades, along with 2 of our esteemed master coaches, will lead you through this experience.
YES! We have had many pre- and type 2 diabetics in our programs. You may have a need to modify throughout the program, but don’t worry - we’ll always make this distinction when giving resources, etc. However, if you feel that you should seek additional support from your doctor due to medications or other preexisting conditions, we strongly encourage you to reach out to your primary care physician prior to the start date.
