Salsa Verde

There’s no way around it, super hot sauces are sexy. They always have been, and they always will be. This warm, tingly sensation created by hot sauce comes from a miracle compound called capsaicin. Capsaicin doesn’t just burn your mouth; it affects your brain and your body by increasing blood flow and heart health. It also gives you a stamina boost.

The thing is, too much can often be uncomfortable, especially if you have digestive issues. So, hot sauce or chilli peppers in combination with a green sauce- salsa verde- allow the heat to build more gradually for a more enjoyable experience while still reaping the health benefits.

Try this simple recipe on shrimp tacos, steak, of salad of choice at dinner tonight.
