Spiralized Zucchini with Pesto

Craving spaghetti? Why not try this spaghetti alternative, spiralized zucchini, also known and ZOODLES! This recipe is a lot of fun and super yummy!


Prep time: 30 minutes.

Cook time: 0 minutes.

Makes: 4 servings.


Spiralize 4 small or 2 large zucchini


2 cups fresh basil leaves, loosely packed

1/4 cup shelled hemp seeds (also called hemp hearts)

1/4 cup nutritional yeast

2-3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

1 clove garlic

Kosher salt to taste (about 1/4-1/2 teaspoon)



Combine all of the ingredients in the bowl of a food processor and process until smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides with a rubber spatula if necessary. Pour over ‘zoodles’ and toss to coat.
