Testimonial Tuesday – It’s a Lifestyle Change

WILDFIT Success Story

WILDFIT is so much more than a diet. It’s a lifestyle.

So often we have community members who approach us after they’ve completed WILDFIT. “I have lower blood sugar”, “my joint pain is gone”, “I no longer suffer from depression”, “my energy is through the roof”, and the list goes on and on. We’ve gotten used to hearing testimonials like these, and feel giddy every time someone approaches us with another amazing success story. WILDFIT truly is a lifestyle that changes lives.

While we would love to say we’re miracle workers, this is simply not the case. It’s the hard work and dedication of every one of our participants who turn their health goals into a reality.

Unfortunately, every so often, we are reminded of the vulnerabilities of what it means to be human. We can do everything in the world to eat and live well, but that doesn’t mean we are immune to sickness. Does that mean we give up? No! It means we do the best we can to optimize on what we have, and create the most fulfillment in our life.

We want to share Kimberly’s journey. She proves that even when faced with adversity, there is no giving up when it comes to your health. Here is her WILDFIT story:

“I first took WILDFIT about three years ago, and am still on it (easy now). I didn’t join to lose weight, I did it for my immune system (cancer, lupus, bipolar, chronic sinus disease; anxiety). The results were dramatic. After just 6 weeks I went from 11 prescription medications to zero and I felt terrific. Seriously, Cloud 9. I have a little farm now with 5 spoiled pet chickens (pastured), fresh eggs, fruit trees, seasonal veggies, and I trade my over-production with a local market. Doesn’t get much better than this. I also realize that we all have an “expiration date,” and while you can certainly improve your quality of life by cleaning up your lifestyle, that date, and how it will manifest is something that… well, who knows. My lovely cancer came out of remission (4 surgeries in late 2017)… this just shocked me. I thought this was over! Same with lupus…. just now coming out of a flare that landed me in urgent care two weeks ago and I have about 5 more weeks of treatment still to go. There is no “cure” for either of these, so it is a management issue. I recognize this and try not to judge myself. I exercise daily (not right now… until the treatment is complete), I meditate every day, and sleep well. I have an overall stellar attitude, though these two conditions can be both confusing and discouraging when they express. Sometimes, even if you do all the right things, bad things can happen and they just have to be dealt with. Would I recommend this program? Absolutely–especially for the psychology that is taught in order to help people make the transition to this lifestyle.”
