I took 4 days off over Thanksgiving to allow myself the freedom to get more variety into my diet. Outside of Thanksgiving day where a had a couple very thin slices of pie, not eating the crust, my indulgent choices were salad with dried cranberries and balsamic vinaigrette, sweet potatoes or roasted butternut squash, in small doses.
Even the last night, I thought if I’m going to have sugar now is the time and I wasn’t interested in eating any sweets.
This is wonderful! My definitions of food and what qualifies has changed dramatically. Thanks for such a great awareness.
