Health Recovery- I feel better than I have in years. I have been on so many yoyo up and down programs plus a regular at 5:30am gym classes mostly spinning and could not get the weight off. I seriously needed someone to tell me what was good and what was not as there is so much “false news” floating around the web. Eric was able to clarify so many questions that I had.
Weight: dropped 40 lbs and 25.5 inches
Meds – I haven’t gotten off my year round allergy meds but I plan to try soon. I tried once but it was week 6 and I believe it was too soon.
I have had a serious issue w my right knee that doesn’t require surgery and for most of the challenge I was NOT able to do the short walks. I was swimming 3x a week. The knee seems to be calming down so I believe it will come around too.
Several in my office say they are going to cut this or that but one in particular who is older 71 has taken to the reduction of sugar and substitutes! Yay for him.
I lost my lifelong doctor to retirement and I have some millennial replacement which I’m sure I won’t tolerate long but if I don’t need him then I may change my mind. He has seen me twice and hasn’t said a word. My nurse did though. She noticed how much weight I lost.
Thanks for everything. I can’t tell you how grateful I am. I was sexually abused as a child and my food relationship suffered. I was never overweight until after my divorce when I was 29. The psychological aspect of the program is was drew me in.
Again many thanks! Thanks seems so trivial for all that you have given me. I’m free to be me after 54 years.
